Why Choose Wafcol?

GRAIN FREE and formulated with NO CEREALS such as wheat and wheat gluten, maize, rice, barley, rye and oats. Also excludes red meat, poultry, white fish, dairy products, soya and artificial colours, flavours and preservatives - known allergens that may trigger food allergies or intolerances.

Formulated to be gentle on sensitive digestive systems with salmon as the single protein source and potato as the main carbohydrate source. Also containing prebiotics, which are proven to help improve digestion.

Containing Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and seaweed, that is rich in iodine, both of which are necessary for many functions including the growth and repair of tissues and to help promote healthy skin and coat.

Contains Glucosamine, Chrondroitin Sulphate and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) to help support and maintain healthy joints.

Crunchy biscuits prevent the build up of plaque and tarter, working with zinc and calcium to help maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Lower protein content than Wafcol Salmon & Potato Adult.

Salmon

Salmon is a palatable protein source that is rich in omega fatty acids. The hydrolysed salmon and salmon meal used in our diets are sourced from Scotland and are naturally stabilised by the use of mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract and lecithin, which all work synergistically to have an anti-oxidant effect.

Potato

Potatoes are an excellent carbohydrate source and offer an alternative to cereal carbohydrate sources, for dogs that require a sensitive diet. Potato starch is also used as a thickening ingredient due to the fact our diets are manufactured without wheat gluten.

Sweet Potato

Sweet potatoes are a tasty and high quality source of easily digestible carbohydrate and also fibre. They have a low glycemic index, with their natural sugars being slowly released into the bloodstream to ensure a balanced and regular source of energy. They are also a great source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, especially vitamins A, C and B6.

Lupin

Lupins are related to legumes such as peanuts, peas, lentils and beans. Lupin seeds can be ground up to make flour, which is used to replace wheat and other cereal products in our gluten free diets.

Pea & Pea Proteins

Peas are members of the legume family and are a source of highly digestible vegetable protein. Pea protein is rich in essential amino acids which are important for maintaining lean muscle mass. They are also a good natural source of dietary fibre and vitamin B.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is a natural vegetable oil that is a good source of Omega-6 fatty acid – also known as linolenic acid.

Seaweed

Seaweed is rich in iodine which is an important trace mineral that is necessary for many functions including the growth and repair of tissues and to help promote healthy skin and hair.

Prebiotic MOS & FOS

MOS (Mannan-oligosaccharides) and FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides) help promote optimal nutritional uptake and remove harmful bacteria, reducing digestive upsets.

Vitamins, Minerals & Trace Elements

All our diets are nutritionally complete and provide a full complement of vitamins and minerals necessary for growth, repair and maintenance. This includes essential macro and micro trace elements such as calcium, phosphorous, sodium, potassium, zinc, iron, iodine and copper. The vitamins included in our diets cover the fat-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin A, D, E and K, along with the water-soluble vitamins such as B1, B6, B12, Folic Acid and Pantothenic acid.

Joint Support

Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) are building blocks used in the body to help support and maintain healthy joints.

Delivery & Returns

Unfortunately, once placed, orders cannot be changed or cancelled. If you have any queries regarding our foods or your order, please call our enquiries line on 0115 938 1242 before proceeding to checkout.

Orders made and paid for before 11am (Monday to Friday) will be picked & dispatched the same day, any orders after this time will be picked the following working day.

Standard delivery is next working day after dispatch. If an email address and mobile number are provided, you will receive tracking updates. Please therefore allow 3 working days for delivery (Day 1 order after 12pm, Day 2 despatch, Day 3 delivery).

Please be aware that unfortunately any orders with a ‘please leave in safe place’ instruction will not be valid for claims of damages or missing goods, as we cannot be held responsible for these.

If you do not leave any instructions for goods to be left in a safe place, and you are not home for the delivery, the courier will leave a card with details for you to call them and re-arrange delivery.

Any visible damages must be noted on the delivery documents when signing to acknowledge delivery.

Complaints must be notified to Wafcol on 0115 938 1242 or enquiries@wafcol.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Any longer than this will result in your claim being rejected.

Returns must be at your own expense if due to customer error (unwanted goods, duplicate order etc.). Goods should be returned to; Wafcol Returns, Armitage House, Colwick, Nottingham, NG4 2BA. You would also need to inform us of the return on 0115 938 1242 or enquiries@wafcol.co.uk , and all goods must be returned in a saleable condition or we will be unable to refund.
