Dogs, just like humans, are omnivores and so are not necessarily dependent upon meat as a source of protein. Wafcol Complete Vegetarian is a nutritionally balanced, complete food that has been developed for when meat cannot be fed for health or ethical reasons or as a great alternative to offer your dog variety.

Wafcol Complete Vegetarian conforms to the standards of the British Vegetarian Society and excludes all meat and meat by-products and so is useful in the treatment of dogs where a meat allergy is suspected.

Most dogs are best fed twice per day

Feed one third of the daily ration at breakfast with the balance fed in the early evening. Wafcol Complete Vegetarian can be fed dry or soaked to suit your dog’s preference, but we would advise that one meal per day should be fed dry. The crunchy texture helps to control the build up of tartar on the teeth and keep the mouth fresh.

Introduce Wafcol Complete Vegetarian to your dog’s diet gradually over a period of one week.
